Cajun Accordion, Vocals
Rodney is originally from Church Point, LA, but now resides in Addis, LA. He started playing guitar and accordion at an early age.
In the late 60s Rodney played with a popular band named The Rhythm Masters. In the mid 80s, he formed The Echauffee Cajun Orchestra. A few years later, he formed a band named The Bayou Blasters, and after some personnel changes, formed the original Tout Les Soir band.
Rodney is also an accomplished songwriter, writing three songs for our latest album, Danse Tout Les Soir. His talents on the Cajun squeezebox earned him a nomination from the Cajun French Music Association for Accordionist of the Year in 2000. That same year, Danse Tout Les Soir was one of the top three nominated for album of the year.
BUTCH LANDRY
Bass Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Vocals
Butch Landry is originally from Perry, LA. As a teenager, he played with
his first band, Butch & The Boppers. Another band that Butch played with was
Randy & The Rockets, one of the original south Louisiana Swamp Pop bands.
Members of Randy & The Rockets recently released a new album, which is a tribute to
the great music they played in the early years of south Louisiana Swamp Pop.
Later, after moving to Morgan City, LA, Butch played with the Cajun Red Hots.
When he moved to Baton Rouge he played with Jay Cormier & The Cajun Country Band
from Breaux Bridge, LA.
Butch, who is also very knowledgeable about sound and music equipment,
joined Tout Les Soir in 1997. That knowledge, as well as his musical and vocal
talents, had a major impact on the recording of our last album, Danse Tout
Les Soir.
Butch is a hair stylist and now lives in Baton Rouge, La

John started his music career playing 70s rock & roll, as well as solo music such as Jim Croce and James Taylor. John also writes and composes music, and along with Tout Les Soir, recorded an original Christmas song named "A Cajun Kind of Christmas". In the 80s he played new wave and rock with a group called The Human Rayz, and in the late 80s and early 90s, he played with several blues and variety bands including The Vibrators, Stacy T and Legacy, and Big Sister.
Butch was recruited by guitar player John Ortis and joined Tout Les Soir in 1997. Having never played Cajun music, he was given a few weeks to adapt and, along with Butch Landry on bass, has been providing that steady bottom beat for Tout Les Soir ever since.
Butch lives in Baton Rouge
and runs his own health insurance agency along with his wife, Charmaine.
